The gap after physiotherapy is real

Regaining basic function and feeling ready for independent training are not always the same thing. This service gives that transition a plan.

  • My physio discharged me, but I still feel weak or uncertain.
  • I know my exercises, but I do not know how to progress them.
  • I am worried about aggravating the same problem again.
  • I want to return to the gym, sport or daily life with confidence.
What coaching includes

Progression with context

  • Review of your training, injury and physiotherapy history
  • A practical baseline for movement, strength and confidence
  • Progressive strength and capacity work within your current tolerance
  • Adaptations based on symptoms, readiness and day-to-day feedback

  • Communication with your physiotherapist when useful and consented to

Questions

Post-physio coaching FAQs

  • Do I need to be formally discharged from physiotherapy?

Not always, but your current stage and clinical guidance need to be clear. If you are still receiving treatment, coaching can only complement that work within the parameters set by your physiotherapist or medical team.

  • Will you diagnose or treat my injury?

No. This is exercise coaching, not physiotherapy or medical care. I do not diagnose or treat injuries. New, unexplained or worsening symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional.

  • Can you use the programme my physiotherapist gave me?

Yes, where appropriate. We can use their recommendations as the starting point, then build strength, movement practice and general capacity around them without changing clinical restrictions.

  • Where do sessions happen?

Sessions are available in Salou, Cambrils, La Pineda and Vila-seca, usually outdoors or near the client to reduce travel friction. Home or suitable indoor options can be discussed when appropriate.

  • How much is post-physio personal training?

In-person 1:1 personal training is €75 per hour. Online coaching is €50 per week for personalised programming, day-to-day adaptations, check-ins and diet and habit guidance. Online coaching does not include an in-person session.

Personal Trainer Salou provides exercise science-based coaching, personal training, health education and rehabilitation-informed exercise support. It does not replace medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, dietetic treatment or specialist healthcare. For medical conditions, pregnancy, cancer, diabetes, neurological conditions or post-surgical recovery, coaching may be adapted alongside medical or allied-health guidance where appropriate.
